Frequently asked questions
Why did my PDF not get smaller?
Some PDFs are already optimized. If Basic cannot shrink the file, try Recommended or Strong, which rebuild the pages as compressed images.
Will compressed pages still be searchable?
Basic keeps the text. Recommended, Strong and Extreme convert pages to images, so use OCR PDF afterwards if you need searchable text.
