How to make an invoice

  1. Choose Tax Invoice (GST) or Cash Receipt.
  2. Fill in the seller details (business name, GSTIN, state) and, if you like, the buyer details.
  3. Add each item with its description, HSN code, quantity, rate and GST percentage.
  4. Pick the payment status and method, check the live preview, then download the PDF or print it.

What you can do

Good to know: this tool lays out the invoice from the numbers you enter. It does not file returns or check your GSTIN with the GST portal. Ask your accountant if you are unsure which GST rate or HSN code applies.

Private by design

The invoice is made inside your web browser and nothing you type is uploaded. Your current draft and saved business details are kept only on your own device, and you can clear them by clearing your browser data. The tool is free, with no account and no watermark.

Frequently asked questions

Is the invoice GST compliant?

It shows the details a GST tax invoice needs: seller and buyer details, GSTIN, invoice number and date, HSN, taxable value, CGST, SGST or IGST, and the total in figures and words. Check the rules for your own business with your accountant.

When does it use IGST instead of CGST and SGST?

When the buyer state is different from the seller state, IGST is charged. When both states are the same, or no buyer state is chosen, the tax is split into CGST and SGST.

Is my business data uploaded?

No. The invoice is made in your browser. Your draft and saved business details stay only on your own device.

Can I save my business details?

Yes. Use Save current business and pick it from the saved list next time. Up to 12 are kept in your browser.
